2026 reality
comparis.ch AG (Zurich; Group CEO Ingo Kopido since 2023; about 175 staff in 2022) runs Switzerland's largest comparison portal across insurance, telecoms, banking, mortgages, real estate and vehicles, with partner services such as HypoPlus and Optimatis.
The comparison model is unchanged. On 5 July 2024 the Federal Administrative Court upheld FINMA's view that Comparis is an unbound insurance intermediary; Comparis accepted and registered with FINMA. In September 2026 it launched a ChatGPT plug-in for real-estate search.
