2026 reality
PolicyPal is controlled by AMTD Digital, and the US App Store lists the app as AMTD PolicyPal (seller PolicyPal Pte Ltd), last updated in 2023; the catalog domain policypal.co now redirects to an unrelated gambling site. No 2024-2026 product or corporate news was found, so whether the service is still actively operated is unclear.
AMTD Digital announced in March 2020 that it would acquire a controlling stake, and completed the deal in June 2020 after MAS approval; AMTD Group's Calvin Choi became chairman and Val Yap stayed CEO. PolicyPal was positioned as AMTD Digital's operating vehicle for Southeast Asian insurtech, and the app has since appeared under the AMTD PolicyPal name.
