Innovation intelligence brief
Finally greater clarity and a better overview thanks to AXA Sure – the app for recording your valuable objects securely and digitally. This free offer is available to all AXA customers with household contents insurance.
What became of it

As catalogued
Free mobile app for AXA Switzerland household-contents customers to record valuables, check their coverage instantly and start a claim with pre-filled item data; developed from a 2014 internal idea (AXA Glass) and rolled out to all Swiss customers in September 2016.
2026 reality
AXA Sure is no longer offered: the original product URL redirects to AXA Switzerland's general household-contents page, and the only AXA Versicherungen AG app in the Swiss App Store (October 2026) is myAXA CH (released 2024), which covers contract management, claims reporting, a coverage overview and payments but no valuables inventory.
After winning the Efma-Accenture customer-experience award in April 2017, AXA Sure disappeared from AXA Switzerland's offer; no discontinuation announcement was found. Coverage checks and claims reporting now sit in the general myAXA app, without the item-inventory function.
inventory-based contents apps were an early attempt to link digital possession records to coverage checks and claims; the generic parts (coverage overview, digital claims) became standard features of insurer portals, while the inventory idea itself did not survive at AXA Switzerland.
Third taxonomy
REVIEW · Confirmed the former AXA Sure URL now shows the general household-contents page without AXA Sure and verified the 2017 Efma-Accenture award (moneycab, 4 May 2017); discontinuation remains inferred from absence, so confidence stays low.
