As catalogued
Enterprise e-signature platform (from Silanis) for complex, regulated transactions, used by insurers to digitise policy applications and signing workflows.
2026 reality
eSignLive is now OneSpan Sign, an e-signature and digital agreements platform of Nasdaq-listed OneSpan (OSPN), marketed to financial services, insurance and government with white-labelling, integrations into CRM and core systems, and an announced AI summary and Q&A feature for signers.
VASCO Data Security acquired Silanis (eSignLive) in November 2015 for about USD 85m; VASCO renamed itself OneSpan in May 2018 and the product was rebranded OneSpan Sign, which OneSpan's FY2025 10-K calls its primary Digital Agreements product. OneSpan has since added identity and mobile security acquisitions (Nok Nok Labs 2025; Build38 agreed early 2026).
a mainstream enterprise e-signature product among several (DocuSign, Adobe); insurance is one of several regulated verticals rather than a dedicated focus.
Third taxonomy
REVIEW · Verified the Silanis acquisition (completed 25 November 2015, about USD 85m) and the 2018 rename via the OneSpan/VASCO release and the FY2025 10-K. Downgraded the 'completed Build38 acquisition' claim to an announced agreement, and recoded strategic evolution from absorbed to retained and maturity from integrated to established, since OneSpan Sign is still a distinct primary product.
