What became of it

As catalogued
Swiss/EU qualified trust service provider offering qualified electronic signatures, seals and managed PKI that let insurers and other regulated firms sign contracts and documents digitally with legal validity (catalogued as an enabler of paperless insurance processes).
2026 reality
DigiCert presents itself as a Qualified Trust Service Provider in Switzerland ('DigiCert, formerly QuoVadis'), offering qualified and advanced personal signing certificates (local or cloud signing), electronic seals, qualified timestamps and GeBüV archiving certificates under ZertES; the Swiss entity QuoVadis Trustlink Schweiz AG holds a ZertES accreditation valid until 31 January 2027. The catalogued signing URL returns HTTP 404.
DigiCert completed its purchase of the QuoVadis Group from WISeKey for a reported USD 45m on 17 January 2019 and kept it operating as its EU and Swiss QTSP. Since then the QuoVadis brand has been progressively folded into DigiCert's, while the Swiss signing and certificate services continue.
one of the few accredited Swiss providers of qualified electronic signatures, a prerequisite for legally binding digital contracting; a horizontal trust service rather than an insurance-specific innovation.
Third taxonomy
REVIEW · Verified DigiCert's completion of the QuoVadis purchase from WISeKey on 2019-01-17 (USD 45m) via DigiCert and WISeKey releases; Swiss QTSP service continuity rests on DigiCert's Swiss page and the 2024 ZertES certificate. No changes.
