Innovation intelligence brief
Innovation intelligence brief
Added by the 2026 Swiss InsurTech research (issue #41) from public sources, not by the original academic study (Stoeckli, Dremel & Uebernickel). Its 2016 and 2017 classifications apply the original taxonomy definitions but were not validated by that study. All innovations in this cohort · Methodology ↗
In-house AI tool that checks multinational insurance programmes for consistency across countries, languages and currencies, analysing sublimits and flagging gaps between local policies and the master policy, initially for property natural-catastrophe cover.
Research profile · Swiss Innovation · 2021–2026
Classification notes · Swiss connection is via group headquarters only; it is a group-level commercial underwriting tool, not a Swiss-market product. Legacy 'Policy management' leaves are the closest fit for checking local policies against the master policy. No official Zurich release was found; three independent trade-press reports agree.
