Array Health (Seattle, founded 2006) built one of the first US multi-carrier private health insurance exchanges: white-label e-commerce software letting insurers run their own branded online exchange for brokers, employers and consumers.
2026 reality
Array Health no longer exists as a separate company or brand; it was acquired by GetInsured in 2016. GetInsured (legal entity Vimo, Inc.; getinsured.com redirects to vimo.com) presents itself in 2025 as a technology provider for state-based health insurance exchanges, naming ten state partners, and Vimo also serves public-benefits agencies. No current insurer private-exchange offering was found.
GetInsured and Array partnered in 2015 and GetInsured acquired Array Health in November 2016 (terms undisclosed); Array's CEO Jonathan Rickert became senior vice president and general manager of GetInsured's insurance business unit, with the Seattle team retained. GetInsured's public focus has since shifted to state-based marketplaces (e.g. a September 2025 multi-year contract with Oregon) and public-sector benefits technology.
the acquirer's growth came from government ACA marketplaces rather than insurer-run private exchanges, which did not become a major channel.
the Array capability survives only indirectly in GetInsured's exchange platform, which is a leading vendor for state-based marketplaces; the insurer private-exchange model itself is of historical interest.
