Innovation intelligence brief
Censio's first product is a smartphone app that helps people drive safely and save money on car insurance by tracking driving habits. It knows if a user is a driver or a passenger and can even tell if you are in a car. We are committed to ending distracted driving.

As catalogued
Smartphone-only driving-behaviour telematics (driver vs passenger detection, distraction scoring) offered both as a consumer app (Mojo) and as a platform for insurers' usage-based insurance programmes, without OBD hardware.
2026 reality
TrueMotion no longer operates independently; its smartphone telematics platform became part of Cambridge Mobile Telematics, which serves insurers, automakers, telcos and fleets with driving-risk scoring and crash detection. The gotruemotion.com domain no longer serves content.
CMT acquired TrueMotion (described as the second-largest mobile telematics provider) on 16 June 2021; TrueMotion's CEO became CMT's COO. CMT later acquired European telematics firm Amodo (2023).
consolidation in mobile telematics favoured scale in driving data and insurer relationships; combining the two largest smartphone telematics providers gave CMT a dominant position.
the capability survives inside CMT, a reference provider for smartphone-based UBI; the TrueMotion brand and consumer app have no separate presence.
