What became of it

As catalogued
Strategic partnership from 1 January 2021 between Swiss insurer Mobiliar and the Raiffeisen banking group: exclusive mutual referral of banking, pension and insurance products, joint products for young clients, families and SMEs, and a 50/50 digital homeowner platform (Liiva). It replaced Raiffeisen's insurance cooperation with Helvetia that dated from 1999.
2026 reality
Mobiliar presents the cooperation as ongoing on its website (2026 copyright): advisers offer insurance, pension and financing solutions jointly, delivered locally via Mobiliar general agencies and Raiffeisen banks. The Liiva homeowner platform is no longer a joint venture; Mobiliar has owned it fully since 2022.
The referral and joint-advice partnership remains in place. The joint ecosystem element narrowed: Liiva launched in summer 2021 as a 50/50 joint venture, but in October 2022 Raiffeisen sold its stake to Mobiliar to focus on its own channels, while the partnership refocused on local cooperation between general agencies and Raiffeisen banks.
according to the 2022 release, Raiffeisen preferred to concentrate on its own digital channels, leaving the platform play to Mobiliar while keeping the distribution alliance.
a large-scale Swiss bancassurance alliance between two cooperatively owned market leaders; relevant as a distribution model rather than as a technology innovation.

REVIEW · Verified Mobiliar's October 2022 full takeover of Liiva (Raiffeisen exit to focus on own channels; partnership continued) via immobilienbusiness.ch/allnews.ch coverage of the Mobiliar release; partnership activity rests on Mobiliar's current partner page. No changes.
