2026 reality
The Floow Limited (UK, company no. 07968005) is active. It sells connected-insurance telematics, the FloowScore driver-risk score, FloowFusion (smartphone plus connected-vehicle data) and mobilityIn mobility intelligence. Since May 2026 its registered parent has been The Floow Holdings Limited.
Otonomo acquired The Floow on 14 April 2022 in a cash-and-stock deal reported at about USD 69 million including an earn-out; Direct Line's DL Insurance Services ceased to be a significant shareholder at that point. After Urgently merged with Otonomo, Urgently returned 51% of The Floow to its management on 20 September 2024, keeping a 49% stake and a perpetual royalty-free technology licence. Companies House lists The Floow Holdings Limited as 75%+ owner from May 2026. The product range grew from smartphone telematics to connected-vehicle data fusion and mobility analytics.
Urgently described the 2024 sale as divesting non-core assets to focus on roadside assistance, which returned The Floow to founder-led control. The move from smartphone-only telematics to connected-car data follows the shift of OEM vehicle data into insurance pricing.
one of the longer-running independent B2B telematics specialists for insurers, now competing with OEM data aggregators and larger players such as Cambridge Mobile Telematics.

REVIEW · Verified PSC history on Companies House and found the 20 Sept 2024 Urgently divestiture (51% to management) that the draft only inferred; added it with sources and replaced the unverified USD 31.3m fair-value figure with the reported ~USD 69m deal value.
