As catalogued
Broker portal from Berlin-based Flexperto (founded 2012) providing video consultation, chat, appointment booking, screen sharing, e-signature and secure document exchange for insurance agents and brokers.
2026 reality
Flexperto has been owned by Milan-based insurance software vendor RGI since April 2021. In June 2025 trade press reported that Flexperto had announced it will discontinue its platform by the end of 2026, offering customers a switch to another software provider; in October 2026 maklerportal.flexperto.com returns HTTP 500 and flexperto.com redirects to live.flexperto.com.
RGI (backed by Corsair Capital) acquired 100% of Flexperto in April 2021, when about 100 companies used it, with plans to expand into France and Italy. In June 2025 Flexperto announced it would discontinue its platform by end-2026 and support customers' migration to another provider; competitors (e.g. BSI) began marketing replacement offers to Flexperto customers.
generic video tools (Teams, Zoom) commoditised advisor video consultation after 2020, which likely eroded the case for a standalone specialist platform inside RGI's portfolio; no official rationale was found.
Flexperto was an early German specialist for compliant digital advisor-client communication; its wind-down shows the category consolidating into CRM and core-system suites.
