Smart-home add-on to Generali Germany's household-contents insurance (reportedly part of the 'Komfort-Plus-Schutz' package and later the 'Generali Einfach Privat' line): a devolo security kit (central unit, siren, switchable socket, door/window sensors, water detectors) whose Home Control app alerted customers to incidents, combining loss prevention with insurance cover.
2026 reality
devolo's Home Control platform, on which Domocity's alerts ran, had its servers shut down on 31 December 2025, ending app access, online control and the mydevolo portal; devolo went through insolvency proceedings in 2022 and again from December 2023, after which an investor took over its operating business in 2024. The catalog's devolo Domocity page could not be retrieved and no current Generali Domocity offer was found.
The Generali-devolo cooperation launched in February 2017; by 2019 devolo was supplying similar IoT packages to other insurers (e.g. GEV). The shutdown of devolo Home Control at end-2025 removed the connected-home part of the bundle; no Generali statement on ending Domocity was found.

Generali's own end date for Domocity remains unverified.
