Simply Business (Xbridge Limited, FCA-authorised) is owned by Travelers and reports protecting over one million small businesses and self-employed people across 1,500 trades, with offices in London, Northampton, Boston and Atlanta and more than 900 employees.
Acquired by Travelers on 4 August 2017 for about USD 490m including debt, after earlier private-equity ownership (AnaCap 2013, Aquiline 2015); it continues as a standalone brand. It opened its first US office in December 2016 and runs a US business, and joined the Amazon Insurance Accelerator in 2021 to offer general liability to Amazon sellers.
