Blocked · Low confidence · Last verified 2026-10-17
Research is blocked: there was not enough public evidence to establish what became of this innovation. Nothing below should be read as a verified 2026 status.
As catalogued
Online quoting and enrollment platform for local/independent agents selling employee benefits (e.g. dental) to small businesses, replacing brochures and spreadsheets with real-time rating and automated applications.
2026 reality
www.insurancemenu.com does not respond and insurancemenu.com returns an empty page titled 'InsuranceMenu' (checked 2026-10-17). The latest located evidence is the Delta Dental of Iowa partnership (pilot for the 2017-2018 enrollment season, with a rollout to all agencies announced in November 2018 for 2019).
After the Global Insurance Accelerator (2017 cohort), the Boston-area company partnered with Delta Dental of Iowa, which also invested via its subsidiary Veratrus Health. No developments after 2019 were found.
digital small-group benefits quoting for agents is now a crowded category served by larger benefits-administration platforms; InsuranceMenu's visible footprint ends around 2019.
REVIEW · Confirmed the Delta Dental of Iowa pilot (Becker's) and the November 2018 statewide rollout and Veratrus Health investment (Business Record, via search). Corrected the rollout milestone date to 2018-11 and removed an unsourced claim about Delta Dental's 2022 agent materials; remains BLOCKED.
