2026 reality
Fluttrbox no longer operates as an independent company: Solera Canada (Audatex), a subsidiary of Solera Holdings, announced its acquisition in April 2018. The catalog domain fluttrbox.io does not resolve (checked 2026-10-17), and no 2025-2026 evidence of a Fluttrbox-branded service was found.
After a 2016 pilot with Continental Western Group, the Montreal-based company was acquired by Solera Canada (Audatex) in April 2018 (terms undisclosed); the founder said the deal would let the company expand its aerial operator network and software. What happened to the product inside Solera after 2018 is not documented.
an early example of drone-based property inspection being bought by a claims-software vendor rather than scaling independently; the capability category is now widely served by aerial-imagery providers.
