Industry-wide Swiss B2B platform, initiated by the association IG B2B for Insurers + Brokers, giving brokers single sign-on access to insurers' systems and a standardised channel for data exchange between insurers, brokers and pension providers.
2026 reality
EcoHub is operated by EcoHub AG (Zurich) and offers identity and access management/SSO, a data exchange platform based on a Standard API Framework, a FINMA-register compliance check for brokers, a processes application (e.g. invoices, commissions) and a digital marketplace for software providers; the website carries a 2026 copyright.
The platform went live in 2020 under the IG B2B association. In July 2022 24 shareholders from the insurance industry founded EcoHub AG, which took over operation of the platform; IG B2B kept 30%. The offer has since grown from SSO into standardised data exchange, broker process services and a marketplace.
