Online platform launched in April 2019 by Zurich Switzerland and CoverWallet, powered by CoverWallet technology, letting micro-enterprises and start-ups quote, buy and manage Zurich commercial policies online in minutes (Switzerland was CoverWallet's second European market after Spain).
2026 reality
The original portal domain (quotes.zurichbusinessinsurance.ch) no longer resolves. Zurich Switzerland's business-customer page offers its own 'Firmenkunden Prämienrechner' ('Offerte berechnen', about 5-10 minutes), with no mention of CoverWallet. CoverWallet itself was acquired by Aon (completed 7 January 2020) and later wound down its US CoverWallet for Agents platform (2023).
The CoverWallet-powered, separately branded portal is no longer reachable; online SME quoting continues inside Zurich Switzerland's own website. CoverWallet's owner changed from an independent start-up (Zurich minority stake since 2018) to Aon in 2020.
after CoverWallet became part of broker Aon and retrenched in other markets, Zurich appears to have moved online SME quoting onto its own site; no source documents the end of the partnership or its reasons.
online SME quote-and-bind is now a standard incumbent channel in Switzerland; the distinctive third-party-platform aspect no longer appears to exist.

Corrected the acquisition date and removed an unverified SEC 10-Q source.
