Innovative web-based service enabling users to reduce their auto
What became of it

As catalogued
A French peer-to-peer web service (launched February 2015 by Louis de Broglie and Emmanuelle Mury) in which members pooled the deductibles of their car, motorcycle and home policies with people they knew, without changing their existing insurance; Inspeer kept a 10% margin on contributions.
2026 reality
inspeer.me now hosts an unrelated Indonesian online-gambling promotion page. No InsPeer insurance service is present, and no active French company running the service was found in the national company register (the only active 'INSPEER' entity is an unrelated 2020 registration near Toulouse).
The service appears to have ceased; the catalog already flagged it as discontinued. A directory mentions a later collaborative insurance concept for electric-vehicle drivers, but no evidence that it launched was found, and no closure announcement was found.
described at launch as France's first collaborative insurance site and an early example of deductible-sharing P2P insurance; like most first-wave P2P models of 2014-2016, it did not reach lasting scale.
Third taxonomy
REVIEW · Confirmed that inspeer.me now serves an unrelated Indonesian gambling page; a further French search found no closure, acquisition or post-2016 activity. Kept 'discontinued' on the basis of the repurposed domain and the absence of an operating entity, with low confidence; no fields changed.
