A Copenhagen-based provider of a cloud SaaS insurance platform with API management, offering insurers and distributors an alternative to monolithic core systems.
2026 reality
IBA markets IBSuite, a cloud-native, API-first, end-to-end P&C insurance platform covering sales, underwriting, rating, policy administration, claims, billing and CRM. Its listed customers include doppo by Zurich (Spain), ManyPets (UK), Topdanmark, Frende, AXA and AIG. In May 2025 it acquired 100% of the Danish firm IO Group.
The original SaaS and API platform model is unchanged. IBA expanded from Danish and Nordic clients to insurers and insurtechs in other European markets. In 2025 it acquired IO Group to serve small and mid-sized insurers through a customer community, which it is extending from Denmark to Norway.
IBA is one of several cloud-native P&C core vendors. It differentiates through fast launches for digital propositions of large carriers (Zurich, AXA, AIG) and, since the IO Group deal, through a shared-template offer for smaller Nordic insurers.
