As catalogued
Cloud-based claims solutions for insurers, combining digital claim submission with integrated settlement and replacement services for content claims, aimed at faster and cheaper claims handling.
2026 reality
Scalepoint sells multi-tenant SaaS for insurers: CORE (a policy and claims core system: ClaimsCORE, PolicyCORE, Policy360), ClaimShop (content-claims settlement with an AI rules engine) and HUB (claims automation for health, property and motor), plus professional and compliance services. It has 150+ staff with offices in Denmark, Poland and Switzerland and customers in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. Since late 2025 it belongs to Total Specific Solutions (TSS), the Topicus.com / Constellation Software vertical-software group. In May 2026 Gjensidige added AI Cost Control to HUB Property.
Scalepoint expanded from content-claims settlement into a broader claims automation suite and a policy/claims core system (PAS), with AI features and offices in Poland and Switzerland. After a 2021 ownership review with EY was paused, it was acquired by TSS around December 2025 (terms undisclosed).
Moving from point claims tools to a core system increases its share of insurer IT spend and makes it harder to replace.
A Nordic-rooted claims specialist with country layers for Nordic and Swiss markets; it competes with global core-system vendors from a claims-first position.
Third taxonomy
REVIEW · Re-fetched the Scalepoint homepage (products, Gjensidige May 2026 news). Found that Scalepoint was acquired by Total Specific Solutions (Topicus/Constellation) around December 2025; changed company status from 'independent' to 'acquired', set owner, and added the milestone and two sources.
